KAB Seating Systems has been a name synonymous with quality state-of-the-art suspension seating systems for over 27 years in Australia and more than 60 years worldwide. 

Established in Australia in the early seventies KAB Seating Systems is a division of KAB Seating Ltd.  KAB Seating Ltd is based in the (UK) and employs about 700 at its operations in Northampton.  Formally known as Bostrom we have built a reputation for excellence in seating system design, reliability, safety and total customer service over the past 60 years. 

This reputation combined with our record of providing a full range of quality assured performance seating solutions is the reason why today, KAB Seating Systems supply most of the Australian market.  It is also why KAB Seating is incorporated at manufacture by many of the leading heavy equipment manufactures that include:  Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Case, Austoft, Massey Ferguson, JCB, and many more. 

KAB has now earned the reputation as the largest industrial vehicle-seating manufacturer in the southern hemisphere.

In Australia we have 8 branch offices in regional city locations around the country.  The business is also supported by a comprehensive dealer support network of selected dealers with industry expertise and local knowledge, as well as a functional web site (www.kabseating.com.au).  The web site apart from providing product and dealer information, keeps you up to date with customer incentive programmes like the KAB Preferred Program. 

KAB Seating Systems also manufacture ergonomic office seating models with an AFRDI approved Level 6 – Severe Commercial rating. 

KAB Seating have also developed the KAB Institute (www.kabinstitute.com)  The KAB Institute is a self-paced online educational programme aimed at increasing your comfort, productivity, health and safety while seated at work.  Many people work for long periods in a seated position, particularly those operating construction, agricultural and transport vehicles.

KAB Australia employs 50 staff and has an average term of employment of over 6 years.
